Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPFIA2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPFIA2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PPFIA2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPFIA2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and UCS show a favorable association.

THYM, ESCA, and DLBC are the cancer types where PPFIA2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
