Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPDPF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPDPF data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PPDPF Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPDPF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, SCLC, and BRCA are the cancer types where PPDPF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
