Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPBP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,340 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPBP-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNF19BPY, RNA5SP96, and ERVE-1. Each is linked with PPBP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPBP-to-partner and partner-to-PPBP results are reported.
