Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPAT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,217 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are TRAJ31, CCL3, and KIF2B. Each is linked with PPAT in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPAT-to-partner and partner-to-PPAT results are reported.
