Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPARG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 117 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPARG-associated genes across cancer lineages are HMOX1, RASIP1, and RASAL1. Each is linked with PPARG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPARG-to-partner and partner-to-PPARG results are reported.
