Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPAN-P2RY11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PPAN-P2RY11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where PPAN-P2RY11 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PPAN-P2RY11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, KICH, and BRCA are the cancer types where PPAN-P2RY11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
