Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POU2F1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POU2F1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher POU2F1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POU2F1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
OV, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where POU2F1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
