Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POT1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POT1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher POT1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where POT1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
