Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POP4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated POP4 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher POP4 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BLCA show a favorable association.

UVM, LGG, and KIRC are the cancer types where POP4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
