Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLRMT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLRMT data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher POLRMT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLRMT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, LGG, and BLCA are the cancer types where POLRMT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
