Across TCGA patient cohorts, POLRMT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,445 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLRMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are SORBS2, JAM2, and NUF2. Each is linked with POLRMT in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLRMT-to-partner and partner-to-POLRMT results are reported.
