Across TCGA cell cohorts, POLRMT RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,135 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLRMT-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Cytoplasm protein quality control by the ubiquitin-proteasome system, Cytoplasm protein quality control, and Cleavage in ITS2 between 5.8S rRNA and LSU-rRNA of tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA). Each is linked with POLRMT in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLRMT-to-partner and partner-to-POLRMT results are reported.
