Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR3G RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated POLR3G data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher POLR3G RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR3G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and GBM show a favorable association.
BLCA, KICH, and MESO are the cancer types where POLR3G RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
