Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR3D RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated POLR3D data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher POLR3D RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR3D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.
MESO, ACC, and KIRP are the cancer types where POLR3D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
