Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR3D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR3D data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher POLR3D Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR3D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where POLR3D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
