Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR2F mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR2F data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher POLR2F mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR2F expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where POLR2F mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
