Across TCGA patient cohorts, POLR2B protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,773 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLR2B-associated genes across cancer lineages are TMEM97, POLR1C, and RMI2. Each is linked with POLR2B in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLR2B-to-partner and partner-to-POLR2B results are reported.
