Across TCGA patient cohorts, POLR2A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,272 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLR2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are BLMH, CLK2, and RFC5. Each is linked with POLR2A in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLR2A-to-partner and partner-to-POLR2A results are reported.
