Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR1G mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR1G data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher POLR1G mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR1G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where POLR1G mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
