Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR1E mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR1E data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher POLR1E mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR1E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where POLR1E mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
