Across TCGA patient cohorts, POLG2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,228 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLG2-associated genes across cancer lineages are DAGLB, ILK, and CNTROB. Each is linked with POLG2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLG2-to-partner and partner-to-POLG2 results are reported.
