Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLE4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLE4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher POLE4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLE4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where POLE4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
