Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLD4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher POLD4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and UCEC are the cancer types where POLD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
