Across TCGA cell cohorts, PNPLA8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 337 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PNPLA8-associated genes across cancer lineages are GFRAL, OR4A47, and DMRTB1. Each is linked with PNPLA8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNPLA8-to-partner and partner-to-PNPLA8 results are reported.
