Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNPLA4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,117 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PNPLA4-associated genes across cancer lineages are ARSD, SCLT1, and USP9Y. Each is linked with PNPLA4 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNPLA4-to-partner and partner-to-PNPLA4 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PNPLA4 versus ARSD in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.30.
