Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNPLA2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 492 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PNPLA2-associated genes across cancer lineages are TRAJ21, RNU6-362P, and PUDPP1. Each is linked with PNPLA2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNPLA2-to-partner and partner-to-PNPLA2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TRAJ21 grouped by PNPLA2-low versus PNPLA2-high in UCEC.
