PNPLA2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNPLA2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 12 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PNPLA2-associated genes across cancer lineages are Fibronectin, MSH2, and p90 RSK. Each is linked with PNPLA2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNPLA2-to-partner and partner-to-PNPLA2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Fibronectin grouped by PNPLA2-low versus PNPLA2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PNPLA2→partner) and Y-score (partner→PNPLA2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
