Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PNMT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PNMT data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PNMT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PNMT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where PNMT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
