PNMA8B

RNA & survival
SurvivalRNAKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PNMA8B RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PNMA8B data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PNMA8B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PNMA8B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRP show a favorable association.

HNSC, ACC, and KIRP are the cancer types where PNMA8B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

RNA survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
