Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PNMA8B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PNMA8B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PNMA8B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PNMA8B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PNMA8B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
