Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PMS2P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PMS2P5 data layer compared with 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher PMS2P5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PMS2P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
MESO, LGG, and ACC are the cancer types where PMS2P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
