Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PMM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PMM1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PMM1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PMM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, STAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where PMM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
