Across TCGA patient cohorts, PML mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 36 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PML-associated genes across cancer lineages are PCNA, Cyclin-B1, and eIF4E. Each is linked with PML in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PML-to-partner and partner-to-PML results are reported.
