Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PMF1-BGLAP RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PMF1-BGLAP data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PMF1-BGLAP RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PMF1-BGLAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and THCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where PMF1-BGLAP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
