Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLXND1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLXND1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher PLXND1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLXND1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
SCLC, MESO, and READ are the cancer types where PLXND1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
