Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLXNB1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLXNB1 data layer compared with 12 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PLXNB1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLXNB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and BLCA show a favorable association.
UVM, BLCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where PLXNB1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
