Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLTP mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLTP-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASNS, ACC_pS79, and JNK_pT183_Y185. Each is linked with PLTP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLTP-to-partner and partner-to-PLTP results are reported.
