Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLS1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 26 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1_pT70, eIF4E, and MEK1. Each is linked with PLS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLS1-to-partner and partner-to-PLS1 results are reported.
