Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLPP5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLPP5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PLPP5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLPP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, LUSC, and COAD are the cancer types where PLPP5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
