Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLPP5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLPP5-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, JNK_pT183_Y185, and p27_pT157. Each is linked with PLPP5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLPP5-to-partner and partner-to-PLPP5 results are reported.
