Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLPP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLPP3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PLPP3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLPP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CESC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where PLPP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
