Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLPP3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLPP3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PLPP3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLPP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where PLPP3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
