Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLOD3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,628 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLOD3-associated genes across cancer lineages are FNDC3B, P3H1, and CALU. Each is linked with PLOD3 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLOD3-to-partner and partner-to-PLOD3 results are reported.
