Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLET1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLET1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher PLET1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLET1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and KIRP show a favorable association.
THCA, CESC, and TGCT are the cancer types where PLET1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
