Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLEK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLEK data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PLEK Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLEK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, DLBC, and LIHC are the cancer types where PLEK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
