Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLEK protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 20,317 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLEK-associated genes across cancer lineages are IL2RB, TLR8, and TNFSF13B. Each is linked with PLEK in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLEK-to-partner and partner-to-PLEK results are reported.
