Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLD1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PLD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, CHOL, and UCEC are the cancer types where PLD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
