Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLCZ1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLCZ1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PLCZ1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLCZ1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PLCZ1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
