Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLAU mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 12 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLAU-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEK1, ATM, and eIF4E. Each is linked with PLAU in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLAU-to-partner and partner-to-PLAU results are reported.
