Across TCGA cell cohorts, PLAU RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,886 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLAU-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of smooth muscle cell-matrix adhesion, Fibrinolysis, and Urokinase plasminogen activator signaling pathway. Each is linked with PLAU in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLAU-to-partner and partner-to-PLAU results are reported.
